Morgan Shaker
Can’t tell her I’m angry Cause it fits the bill; If it walks like a duck Hope its quackin’ still This song don’t wanna change a word note for note it’s not the song I heard She said when I talk about girls It’s like buying cheap candy in a sellers world Every girl I’ve known always treats me right but I don’t understand I am a star she’s the big black night Don’t mean direspect or to get you down But I know I’m right cause I thought about Don’t owe the world a piece or a share And I ain’t sitting down in the victim chair No I ain’t sitting down in the victim chair Most folks see with some delight this gentle honest man can lead us to the fight I say the first steps gotta be theirs they say keep it moving cause he just don’t care
Morgan Shaker Jam, Fam 1981-2012
But if you seem to be mistaken
and the cards came up not right
reshuffle or reset and
put up a fight
It’s gonna take alot of drugs
to help a man like you
Its gonna take a lotta drugs
to start the things you do
so if an answer seems too fleeting
and permanence for fools
why not try to break free
not fall down too?
Yeah I’m the wolf and everybody in the world,Trying to find out who I prowlI’m the wolf and everybody in the world,
They’re trying to find out who I hound
Well you know they can’t see me at night,
But they can hear me when I howl
(Howl, wolf… I said howl… Now you’re howlin’!…)
I take time when I’m prowlin’,
Wipe my tracks out with my tail
(A lot of people wonder why I do this but I wanna tell you)
I take time when I come prowlin’,
Wipe my tracks out with my tail
That’s in order that no one discover,
Whoa Lord he can’t cross my trail
I’m that wolf, dig a hole,
Stick my nose down in the ground (hound)
I’m that wolf, dig a hole,
Stick my nose deep down in the ground
Yeah you know I’ll be hiding right at you baby,
You’ll think I’m way out on the outskirts of town
(That’s that wolf)
Din.
Sup.
O QUESO.
Being a museum is easy. First you copy songs, and then you e-mobilize and practice emotional. Pretty similar to life, except less money more honey, not funny.
Din as in the sounds of the worn bearings in the motors that drive the fans that cool the compressors to economize the machine. So we pay for dispersal of excess heat with sound. Din noise pollute-sin.
Sup is for chubbing up.
The next goals for the the futurist modernistic wing of the museum is a ritual that lasts for a persistence that revisits.
I live in the on deck circle.
Fund raisin is tasting pretty young still.
Yeah
out in la, out at your pool.
get me out of this tangled up grapevine. up on a hill
leading me nowhere can’t get you off my mind yet stil
Look at me now so perfectly somewhere, Every eyes on me you know you know its true
Look at you now perfectly nowhere
and when the moon comes rising high, Over LA!
Get in your car, Talking a walk
No matter what I’ll make my way
Do it somehow, Taking my life
Put it out on the road you know thats what I came for
Look at the sunlights, as the sunsets
You know theres a moment a flash I’ve never seen
Look at the morning dew, Reflecting me and you
Well, tomorrow comes Before today
(Operator take the call please now
Said son you’re just reading the lines
of the play of your own design
every new day, every possibly way
the most predictable half
This choice is yours, the path is well worn
When the boundaries wider than you are lying down
Take off your hat dear, take a deep breath of air
You know you always want to be
Take off your shirt love, make your move sweetheart
cause the time is growing nigh,
And we are alone!
There are so many colors in the white light
When separated they cull the ages tender faces,
A persistent search is our greatest hope
There is no splendid departure, only competence.
So many songs in the White noise
The extraction undoes the fatigue of hearing
and poor listening and too much talking
without deference for the other spirits in the room.
An instant flash like a camera that used to make pictures with film on spindle that always at my fingertips
That is all that you get I swear that is all of it.
I swear I see so many faces in this city
September comes the avalanche reveals
and I seem to run across them
The best thing I can hope is to help them on their way
Its like a first kiss the moment the guitar hits with that smoky basement mix with the kids running out their mouths they start to shout out
You ask me what to make of all of this
I only know this bandwidth of the rainbow
Good stories they tend to change
Before you know it will be ending again.

WFR077: WFRFRvol2 : Are You In Paradise? (LP)
I can no longer prolong the greatest moment of my life. I cannot afford to be afraid of the long silence. Of the after after. The people that populate my bedroom have become too real. My option is every door, every sun and mountain of night. Our options are in people. Honest voices are doors. I have stopped trying to control the narrative. To prescribe the reality of self. Not sleep until ending. Not sleep until climax. I am awake now. I am awake now. I will stop trying to wake up and I will walk out the door and I will see in a way that listens. This moment will be a kingdom of yes simply in the naming. It was always a choice. It was always a way of seeing. I am in Paradise.

that summer you moved quickly. there was no time after work to go home before the show so you pack those boots in your bag in the morning when you left the new apartment, made a call during a cigarette break and scribbled an address, a part of town you don’t know but go alone anyway, all the streets look the same but you find it, from the outside it looks like no one’s home and at the bottom of the dark stairs you panic. you almost turn and run but you don’t and the door opens for your knock and there’s a smiling face on the other side…
