Haygun has been a staple of the City of Boston for his entire life. He has contributed immensely to the Boston poetry scene and the Whitehaus Family Record with his slick wordcrafting and captivating performances. Recently, he moved to Vancouver to pursue a career in living on the west coast. We miss him terribly. Erich will be skyping in and performing his poem “Get Closer” LIVE over the INTERNET at Spectacle on 2/11.
fey rey & freedom sound is the collaboration project of fey rey (laura wilson of the woodrow wilsons) and freedom sound (regina north of the points north). When they play music together it is the true bliss of two close friends who may or may not share a birthday coming together to create synchronous, honest music.
fey rey & freedom sound WILL be appearing at spectacle on 2/11, in person!!!
Michael is one of the most feathery shrimps to ever swim through the house. He is a pioneer of many now-standard Whitehaus practices, including: living in the 10th bedroom, staying up late & getting up early, being from a state where citrus grows on trees.
Michael will be appearing LIVE at Spectacle this Saturday, February 11th, both participating in the LIVE rendition of the album and performing a special “Long” set later in the evening!
Morgan is an original tenant of the Treehaus and the head honcho over at Studio 53 (where many of the tracks on Are You In Paradise were recorded). His personal contribution to the compilation, Oh Canada, takes you to many places in the mere two minutes it spends in the air.
At the release party, Morgan Shaker will front Peace, Loving as they perform their more rockus renditition of this heavenly tune.
is love at first breath. Classic sounds you heard pumping the stereo of the wind when you stepped outside without a hat on, 70 degrees in January, the muscles in your cheeks creaking to let out a smile when it’s been a while. Their track ‘Flyers’ is the closing track of Are You In Paradise?. The song delivers physically distant friends straight to our side.
For the album release, Welcome Home will be joining forces with Peace, Loving to present a full-band experience of their amazing tune. It will be the climax of an hour long round robin of quick hits straight to th’ gut. Be Ready to Be There
“…these aren’t coyly affectionate songs, these are jubilant hymns to the ecstatic, revelatory state of love [...] For me, it sounds like a high-up window letting in sounds from heaven which inspires reverence now.”
This ocean, bubbles with great tune after great tune from New York’s Wes Buckley aka Dick Heaven aka “Wes” from “Jan Morrison”. Whitehaus Family Record was very pleased to add this record to the cadre from one of the house’s favorite songwriting buddies.

Frank Hurricane’s first voyage into recording hip-hop + R&B. Using hand-punched keyboard drums, a loop pedal, some magic contrapuntal gangsta piano, and the same soulful crooning Frank’s always been known for, Frank made an album that is up there with the best of the genre with the best messages the world has ever heard. Save your soul and listen to the holy truth.
Released digitally via bandcamp.com and a limited cassette run on Arkm Foam’s bootleg label ‘High Quality Dubs’ (edition of 20).
